The Wilson Missionary Baptist Association (WMBA) is a fellowship of churches united in faith, service, leadership, and Kingdom advancement. Since its inception in 1926, WMBA has served as a collaborative body of Missionary Baptist churches committed to strengthening congregations, developing leaders, and meeting the spiritual and practical needs of communities throughout Wilson County and surrounding areas. Originally established as the Missionary Baptist Churches of Wilson County with sixteen churches in fellowship, the association continues to build upon a rich legacy of cooperation, fellowship, biblical teaching, and Christian service.
For nearly a century, WMBA has brought churches together under a shared commitment to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, supporting local ministries, equipping leaders, and serving communities with love and compassion.

Bishop Lynwood BattsServes as the spiritual and administrative leader of the Wilson Missionary Baptist Association, providing vision, oversight, and guidance to member churches and ministries.
Vice Moderator
Pastor Steven KentSupports the Moderator and assists in the coordination of Association programs, leadership initiatives, and church engagement activities.
